We are delighted to share exciting news from the Advanced Machining Centre (AMC) team, who have recently become a member of the esteemed North West Aerospace Alliance (NWAA). This affiliation marks a significant milestone for the AMC team, underscoring its commitment to enhancing collaboration within the aerospace, defence, and space sectors.

The NWAA serves as the premier trade association for companies across these industries and their supply chains in the North West of England. With a membership that includes industry giants like BAE Systems, Rolls Royce, Airbus, MBDA, and Safran, NWAA holds a pivotal role in advocating for its members’ interests at regional, national, and international levels.

Founded in 1994, NWAA represents approximately a quarter of the UK’s aerospace industry, boasting a combined turnover exceeding ÂŁ7 billion. This vibrant aerospace cluster not only contributes significantly to the UK economy but also fosters innovation and skills development crucial for industry advancement.
