A visit to ALVANCE Aluminium Dunkerque to end the academic year!

For the first time since March 2020, ALVANCE AluminiumDunkerque in FRANCE opened its doors to welcome visitors.

Ten students at the end of their Marketing degree from the french “Université du Littoral et de la Côte d’Opale” accompanied by their teacher, wanted to discover the different stages of supply of goods from Aluminium Dunkerque.

Divided for COVID measures, the group visited part of the factory to get a better understanding of the process: warehouse and supply management, reception of materials and raw materials, management of the aluminium stock and shipments were presented by Laëtitia Pudys and Yannick Vankemmel, respectively Head of the Supply Chain Sector and Purchasing Manager.

A lot of information allowed the students to learn more about this important chain called the #Supplychain, which includes all the steps of our products, from its creation to the delivery to our final customer.
