GFG Foundation Student Programme Launch

Last week marked a significant milestone as the GFG Foundation, in collaboration with EDT and Speciality Steel UK, proudly launched the fourth season of its bespoke Student Programme.

Over the next 14 weeks, students from local schools will embark on a transformative journey focused on designing ‘A Sustainable Community’. Guided by the GFG Foundation’s dedicated colleagues, who bring invaluable industry knowledge, the programme not only nurtures STEM skills but also cultivates confidence, communication abilities, and sustainable practices crucial for their future careers.

The GFG Foundation warmly welcomes Brinsworth Academy, joining for the first time, alongside the enthusiastic returning schools: Stocksbridge High School, High Storrs School, Sheffield Girls High, and Wath Academy.

The launch event at Sheffield Hallam University marked an inspiring beginning, where mentors and students alike embarked on their path towards personal and professional growth.
