LIBERTY Dunaújváros colleague is awarded prestigious scholarship

Ramóna Veszprémi, Senior Officer in the LIBERTY Dunaújváros Technology Department, has been one of the first recipients of the Cooperative Doctoral Scholarship offered by the University of Miskolc, the largest university in northern Hungary. The university announced eight winning applications, with Ramóna’s securing first place – a fantastic achievement!

The Scholarship supports the close collaboration between scientific research and industrial innovation. Its aim is to encourage students to conduct research which directly contributes to the development of the economy and industry, with a particular focus on achieving sustainability goals. Ramóna’s research, which focuses on the development of new technologies for green steel production, aligns perfectly with LIBERTY Dunaújváros’ green steel transformation strategy.

Ramóna’s recognition also creates new opportunities for LIBERTY Dunaújváros to actively participate in the development of sustainable technologies, as the scholarship ensures the company will have direct access to the latest scientific findings.

Ramóna first started working with the Dunaújváros team in September 2018 as a materials engineering student, as part of the University of Miskolc’s dual education programme.
