Empowering Futures: GFG Foundation Looks at a Year of Growth and Excellence

Reflecting on 2023, we review some of the outstanding achievements of the GFG Foundation. It’s been another fantastic 12 months for the GFG Foundation, having supported almost 10,000 students since the Foundation was launched in 2017!

The Foundation stands as a driving force, empowering young individuals to realise their potential and fostering community growth by enhancing the skills and employment opportunities of upcoming generations. The Foundation’s team of mentors has been instrumental in imparting valuable skills, knowledge, and experiences to the youth.

Throughout the year, the Foundation extended its influence globally, diligently nurturing and cultivating the potential of numerous students. Highlights of 2023 include:

Winner of the Chairman’s Global Excellence Award for the student programme mentors in the UK​. Read more here.

Commenced the GFG Foundation student programme in Ostrava, Czech Republic for 29 students aspiring to be electricians​.

Doubled the size of the 3-year education programme, in partnership with Paul Dimo High School and LIBERTY Galati, Romania​.

Launched the GFG Foundation programme in Tahmoor, Australia and introduced the Year 7/8 programme in Newcastle, Australia​.

As we head into 2024, the Foundation has another busy year planned. They will be building on the success of the student programmes by expanding in existing markets and launching the Foundation in new countries.
