Families participate in a clean-up day for Ukrainian refugee hotel

When Ukrainian refugees fleeing before the Russian aggression needed help, the LIBERTY Ostrava team stepped in and provided them with accommodation at their hotel Kovák. Now, when the hotel Kovák needed some help with a spring clean-up around its premises, the Ukraninian refugees returned the favour and helped them with this task. 10 families joined forces and cleaned the hotel surroundings and volunteered their services to collect trash, rake leaves and more, around the entire hotel.

We were very happy we could help somehow. Even the kids enjoyed it having a chance to spend some time together doing something meaningful. When were contacted by the hotel manager, we did not hesitate a minute. It was the least we could do to express our recognition for all the support and care that LIBERTY Ostrava and the Czech Republic has been providing,” said Igor Lukovskyi, Reliability Engineer, Sinter Plant, who organised the activity.
