Introducing our Polish sales office team

LIBERTY Ostrava has a sales team in Poland based in Katowice which is focused on selling into the important Polish market.

The team is led by Marcin Matysiak who is responsible for the management of the entire activity of the LIBERTY sales office in Poland. Marcin oversees the implementation of sales plans for the Polish market of various products in the field of long, flat products and pipes manufactured by individual mills from the LIBERTY and ALVANCE groups. In the beginning, the office was established to handle the sale of products manufactured only in the Ostrava mill. But over time they have successively widened the area of ​​their activity with other mills and sell products from Galati, UK, Ascoval, Liege / Dudelange and Magona.

Marcin has a team of sales experts and support colleagues working with him.

Piotr Kłosowicz, Sales Support Manager. Piotr deals with the development of the market for road barriers, threaded rods and semi-finished products.

Marcin Pawłowski, Sales Manager. Marcin has been working in the steel industry since 2005, and he’s been with LIBERTY since April 2019. Marcin is responsible for the sale of products in coils (HRC), sheets (HRSH) and strips (HRST) from the LIBERTY Ostrava and LIBERTY Galati mills.

Vadim Ocneanu, Senior Sales Manager – Pipes and Tubes Poland and OCTG Europe. Responsible for pipes and tubes market in Poland and OCTG across Europe. Vadim has 30 years of experience in Oil & Gas markets and 8 years in the Pipes and Tubes market. He has been working for LIBERTY Commercial Poland since October 2019.

Katarzyna Kamińska-Sroka, Sales Manager. Katarzyna has been in the industry since 2003. She started working at LIBERTY Ostrava in April 2019. She is responsible for selling smooth wire rod, ribbed bars and ribbed bars in coils to the Polish market.

Artur Hockuba, Sales Manager. Artur has been in the metal industry for 22 years. He has also worked in industries such as aviation and automotive. He has been managing the Polish branch of the Italian drawing mill for 10 years. He has been cooperating with Ostrava since 2017 and he has been working for LIBERTY Commercial PL since September 2019.

Klaudia Maciejczyk, Sales Office Assistant.  Klaudia joined Liberty in 2020. As an office assistant, she takes care of the office and helps the team to be well organised. Also, she coordinates with other  LIBERTY Group departments when necessary.

Dariusz Wojtasik, Sales Manager.  Over his 22-year professional career, Dariusz has dealt with the organization and sale of hot-rolled and cold-formed products. From the beginning of February 2021, he has been working in LIBERTY Commercial PL as a Product Sales Manager and he deals with the sale of hot-rolled sheets produced by LIBERTY Częstochowa.

The other members of the Polish office are Krystian Heisig and Anna Leszczyńska-Kastory.

Krystian Heisig, Sales Director Eastern Europe who is working for ALVANCE Aluminium in Duffel, Belgium. He is in charge of the company products sale in Central and Eastern Europe.

Anna Leszczyńska-Kastory is the sales support manager for products from Liège-Dudelange plant in Belgium.
