LIBERTY Magona shows solidarity to the family of a former employee

The management and trade unions of LIBERTY Magona recently handed over 10,000 Euros to Matteo, the son of a former colleague Roberto Vaccari, who passed away following a long illness. The donation was made at a small ceremony at the plant, after the Magona management team launched a collection in which everyone across the business participated voluntarily to give the equivalent of an hour’s pay.

Lino Iallorenzi, MD of LIBERTY Magona said: “The Magona team has always been one big family and when one of our employees passes away, we stay close and support their families. I am very pleased to have been able to provide a little more support for Roberto’s family at this difficult time for them”.

LIBERTY Magona supports many charities in its region including the Italian Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association (AISLA) and the “San Vincenzo dei Paoli”, which provides food support to people in need.
