LIBERTY Ostrava expands its deliveries to Czech Railways

LIBERTY Engineering Products Ostrava, a subsidiary of LIBERTY Ostrava, has reached another significant milestone. Not only is it capable of manufacturing and delivering railway wheels to customers both on the Czech and foreign markets but thanks to the newly obtained certification, the preparation for which took almost one year, the company is expanding its production and commercial activities to another area. The company will now be able to manufacture and repair welded railway vehicles, their units and components for the national company Czech Railways (České dráhy).

This certification follows the successful certification from last year by SLV Berlin, which enables the company to offer welded railway vehicles on foreign markets.

The certificate is valid till 2023. During the period on-site supervisory audits will be conducted by the certification body and Czech Railways.
