Magnificent moustaches raise money for men’s health

LIBERTY Bell Bay family gets behind the Manganese Mojos, and the Dubai office gets their facial hair game on for Movember!

A group of hirsute upper lip LIBERTY Bell Bay employees recently added some style to their work site with the growth of five magnificent moustaches and the coordination of a lunchtime barbeque to help raise more than $3300 for men’s health.

Mindful of the need to meet site requirements associated with the correct fitting of respirators, the members of the creatively named, Manganese Mojo crew, let the top lip grow ‘semi-wild’ during November.  In doing so, they raised $1674 which was matched by the GFG Alliance LIBERTY Bell Bay smelter to reach a total of $3348.

Funds raised will go directly to Movember, the registered not-for-profit organisation which was started in Australia in 2003, and now operates around the globe. Movember unites with experts around the world to collaborate on major projects that make a real difference in the field of men’s health. 

Meanwhile across the globe in the GFG Alliance – Dubai office, our colleagues from IT and Security, also joined forces to mark Movember – to raise awareness for men’s health issues.
