Video three – Meet Tom Parker

We want the GFG Alliance to stand out as a global beacon and leader in creating a sustainable future for industry and society.

To that end, we have given employees around the GFG Alliance the opportunity to share their GFG stories with colleagues and people outside of the business.

Over the coming months, we will be releasing videos featuring employees from around the LIBERTY Steel Group talking about their experience of working for LIBERTY.

Our Next Everyday Hero

Tom Parker is a Grade 2 Flexible Operative working at LIBERTY Speciality Steels in Rotherham. He has been with the company for three years.

Tom always had an interest in the industry as his Dad has worked for the company for 25 years and Tom hoped to follow in his footsteps.

When he joined LIBERTY, Tom was impressed with the level of training and support that he received and the number of opportunities available to him.

Tom sees his colleagues as family and wouldn’t want to be working anywhere else.

The Why

Brands that earn employee trust through their commitment to the brand purpose, gain a significant advantage. As a result, we have seen employee advocates become beacons of trust on social media because they can amplify the sentiments of the brand in an authentic and believable way.
That is why we have started our own journey to create brand advocates amongst our employees.

We will be expanding the advocacy programme to other GFG brands so whether you work in LIBERTY, ALVANCE, SIMEC or one of the Family Office businesses, your chance to shine is coming.

Do you know an Everyday Hero?
